Personal/Professional Experience

Attorney Gavegnano was born in East Boston, MA, and raised in Saugus, MA. After receiving his J.D. from New England School of Law, he relocated to New York to work as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx District Attorney Office’s Domestic Violence and Sex Crime Bureau. He returned to MA, where he opened a solo criminal defense practice representing clients throughout the North Shore. Before joining Gallagher & Cavanaugh, he worked as an Associate Attorney at a Boston law firm where he represented labor union workers.

Attorney Gavegnano has over 20 years of courtroom and trial experience, diligently representing clients in the District, Juvenile, and Probate and Family Courts. His prior practice areas include criminal defense and family law matters.

Attorney Gavegnano is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
